Yuen has won the UMC st Radboud Master Prize 2011/2012 for her thesis entitled “Interaction of DNA methyltransferase 3B Gene with Childhood Adversity on Hippocampal Volume”.

Cognomics Chair receives VICI grant

Chair of the Cognomics board, Prof dr. B. Franke has received a prestigious VICI grant from the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) to study the biological causes of Attention Deficit\Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Professor Franke and her team will combine genetic research, brain imaging studies and research on fruit flies to learn more about mechanisms underlying the neurobiology of ADHD.

First Cognomics PhD Thesis

On January the 23rd 2013 Martine Hoogman defended her PhD thesis in the Aula of the Radboud University, Nijmegen. This is the first thesis of the Nijmegen Cognomics Initiative.

Cognomics opening

The Cognomics program was officially opened on September 12, 2012. A one-day symposium was organised to celebrate this occasion.
