the user specifies cfg.foilim, the mtmfft method adds a cfg.foi field with the real frequency, which should not be the case because the user did not specify it (according to Robert)

cfg.foi is not a parameter that the user can set himself, therefore it is not really a configuration option.

I implemented it in a such a way that the user can input a cfg.foi now for mtmfft as well. However, it should only give out the same inputs as it received during the call. I'll have a look at it soon, it shouldn't behave like this

It should be fixed now. If a user uses cfg.foilim, output will only contain a cfg.foilim. If a user uses cfg.foi, the output will only get a cfg.foi.
