I came across http://www.addthis.com which allows a row of "like/share" buttons to be added to a site, linked to the gathering of statistics. It might be a nice item to include on the fieldtrip page. TODO: discuss in the group meeting Related to this: it would be nice to know which fieldtrip pages are visited most.

Unfortunately, the AddThis buttons will not work properly with our wiki, at least not with sharing on facebook (twitter seems to work OK). Therefore, I have implemented non-AddThis facebook and twitter buttons on the testwiki. Before copying these to the actual wiki, let's discuss them during the meeting.

op de home/start pagina staat nu facebook recommend linksonder, en in het news staat facebook like. Het verschil tussen recommend en like is me eigenlijk niet zo duidelijk. Kunnen we dit eens bespreken?

I have now added the AddThis toolbox to the wiki pages, along with a 'Share this page' text legend. The AddThis buttons will automatically display the visitor's most likely share services: facebook for almost everyone, hyves for dutch people, etc.
