As far as I can see, these two files are the only ones missing: fileio/private/sap2matlab.mexmac fileio/private/read_16bit.mexmac

I don't have MATLAB any more on Apple/PPC, so I cannot compile the mex files. I suggest we keep the existing mexmac files in the release, because some users still might benefit from those. If those Apple/PPC need to use the more recent mex files, they'll have to compile those themselves.
